The Eskolin Finnish Log House was moved to the Windmill grounds in 2007. It has served OBHS as shelter during tour days, and for meetings. It allows us to interpret traditional Finnish log building methods that were evident throughout the Old-Brule region. It was moved from its original site in Northern Maple where it was first the home of Matt Perala’s family, later that of the Nestor Eskolin family, and was donated by the Donald Anderson family.
