O-BHS Annual General Meeting

Sunday August 16, 2015, (Please note date change)

1:00 pm,

At the Oulu Cultural & Heritage Center/Palo Farms.

 71055 Muskeg Road Oulo, WI

The Old-Brule Heritage Society will hold its Sixteenth Annual Meeting

 at the Oulu Cultural & Heritage Center/Palo Farm,

 located in the Town of Oulu, on Sunday. 

 (Please follow the signs on the short trip north and then west to the

Cultural Center located at the corner of Muskeg Road and East View

 Road, off US Highway 2 north on Airport Road, just west of Iron River.) 

The meeting starts at 1 p.m. and includes a pot luck lunch,

followed by a presentation by Author Steven D. Fortney

who will speak about his new book, The Cabin: a North Woods

 Memoir, published by Nan Wisherdís Cable Publishing in Brule. 

 A business meeting will follow the program. 

Our thanks to Duane and Barb Lahti and the Oulu historical group

 for making their growing facility available to us.

(O-BHS will provide utensils, condiments and coffee & punch.)

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck lunch.

Guests are welcome.

Davidson Windmill and Eskolin Log House tours:

(Tours take about 30 minutes to 1 hour, pending your interest in history, and the workings of the Windmill.)

 

 Group tours when requested.
